Nooa´s portrait sketch

"Nooa"
Oil on canvas, 2011

Mea painting some brilliant color bars.

I did this portrait sketch of my son, but I can not take the all of the credit because I got a lot of help from my lovely children!
Nooa painted his right ear and some of the background.
Mea made those beautiful color bars in the middle part of the painting.
She just loved the new brushes I bought from London.
We had super fun!

That's great when your kids want to paint too. Nice painting Antti.

That is one gorgeous portrait. And that with help from the kids! Amazing. Now go on tell them to get a real job when they grow up....
Love your paint box..nice and large and you can close the lid to keep paints fresh. Just a big pochade??

Ha! Thank you Sophie.
I will do that.
Pochade box is the Easy-L easel, versa model.
I mounted a piece of glass on it and a grayish paper underneath it. Just to have mid value background.
It's been super good easel that can handle any weather too :)

Ah, thanks Antti! Oh, those american boxes are so beautiful. Cost a fortune to get to Europe though!
Thanks.
