Nice Paintings! I have a question: for some images (like the ones of the children) you probably work from photographs. Could you share some tips on this? Do you use prints, or a computer monitor etc...?

Hi Jos,
I usually paint children from the computers monitor. But if that is not possible I make either a pencil sketch or paint from the iphone´s screen. :)
Basically anything goes, prints are also ok.
I also digitally paint stuff out or add stuff to the reference photos.
Cameras always distort colors and stuff (lens distortion, vignette, noise...), so notes of colors and values are necessary to be marked down mentally, when you take the photo.
